Ian and Larissa Murphy

Ian and Larissa Murphy

What if that thing you really feared happened?  Would it dampen your faith?  Or would you experience love and joy deeper than you can imagine?  Ian and Larissa met in college and fell in love. They talked about getting married, and he started looking for a ring. They dreamed about life together, raising babies and growing old.  They did not imagine a car accident. They did not imagine his brain injury. They did not dream about the need for constant care and Ian being confined to a wheelchair.   They could not have imagined how persistent love would be. Theirs and God's.  Ian and Larissa Murphy tell their story of love in their new book, Eight Twenty Eight.

Georgeanna Johnson’s impressive 150 pound weight loss was recently featured on the popular ABC television show, Extreme Weight Loss.  A Pastor’s wife and mother of two, Georgeanna neglected herself for years.  Her remarkable transformation began when she was honest about her past and began to find her true identity.  Her husband, Scott, was so inspired that he too embraced a lifestyle change and lost 51 pounds.

Naghmeh Abedini

Naghmeh Abedini

In July of 2012 Pastor Saeed Abedini was arrested in Iran for his Christian faith.  He eventually was convicted and is currently serving an eight-year sentence in one of the most violent Iranian prisons.  Saeed has endured torture, psychological warfare, humiliation, and numerous death threats from inside the prison walls.  Denouncing Christ would grant him freedom and a sure return to his family in America, but it is his faith in Christ that continues to strengthen him.  His wife, Naghmeh, will share their powerful story of faith against all odds.
