Taking My Life Back
About the Resource:
Rebekah Gregory and her 5-year-old son’s lives were forever changed by a bomb at the 2013 Boston Marathon. While cheering at the finish line, Rebekah was severely injured when a homemade bomb packed with shrapnel exploded just three feet away from where they stood.
Rebekah’s legs took the brunt of the blast, protecting her son from certain death. After 18 surgeries and 65 procedures, her left leg was amputated. Taking My Life Back: My Story of Faith, Determination, and Surviving the Boston Marathon Bombing is a memoir of her journey to physical and mental wellness and spiritual wholeness.
