For Brenda Spahn, an entrepreneur and businesswoman, wealth was a lifestyle until a brush with the law threatened to send her to prison. In those dark moments, Brenda made a promise to God. Spared incarceration, a renewed Brenda glimpsed into the lives of women serving time in Alabama’s Julia Tutwiler Prison for Women. What she saw prompted a God-inspired vision. In her new book, Miss Brenda and the Loveladies, you’ll read how Brenda took the toughest women in town, ex-cons, into her own home. She overcame incredible obstacles in order to physically, mentally, and spiritually transform the lives of these women, affectionately known as the loveladies. Brenda’s ministry has blossomed into a rehab center known as The Lovelady Center – the largest and most successful nonprofit transitional center for women in the country.
