Biography

Lauren Burns’ life is a remarkable testimony of resilience, faith, and the redemptive power of God. At just seven years old, Lauren was kidnapped by her father and taken from Texas to the Middle East, where she spent months facing fear, isolation, and uncertainty. Against all odds, a daring international rescue mission brought her home to her mother — a true story later portrayed in the NBC film Desperate Rescue: The Cathy Mahone Story.

Today, Lauren is a physical therapist, speaker, and host of The Redeemed Podcast, where she highlights stories of healing, courage, and God’s faithfulness. She is also the author of a completed memoir manuscript that recounts her rescue and the lifelong journey of redemption that followed, now in the process of pursuing publication.

Driven by her belief that no story is beyond God’s reach, Lauren uses her voice to remind others that even the darkest chapters can be restored. Her passion is helping people discover that God not only rescues — He rebuilds, restores, and redeems every part of our lives.

In Bev Lambert’s mid 20s the owner of a Private Investigative company I was working for retired and handed me the keys to his firm. My husband, Rick, then retired as a police officer in vice and narcotics and we entered into our first family business.

After 21 years of sleuthing together, we ventured into our second business in helping launch the career of our daughter, country singer Miranda Lambert.
