Biography
The Rowley’s had been married for ten years when in 1992, they decided they needed marriage counseling. Marty was a trial lawyer and knew how to argue. Cindy did not know how to speak for herself. They were attending a different church but decided to go to counseling at Jimmy Evans’ church (Trinity Fellowship). They were encouraged to attend a “Marriage on the Rock” group and loved it so much they went again and eventually taught it at their own church. It significantly impacted their marriage and helped them learn how to communicate. They later joined Jimmy’s church and Marty is now Senior Pastor of that church. The Rowley’s credit the Evans’ teachings for the success of their marriage today.
