Pastor Randy Harvey has known Pastor Robert Morris for quite some time. When Pastor Robert first wrote The Blessed Life, Randy saw him talk about it on the show with James! He says the book has had a tremendous impact on him – in two ways.
- The first was what became as his “ heart connection” to giving — instead of “mechanically” giving because that’s what you’re suppose to do.
- The second is a result of a particular night when he watched the LIFE Today show. When James started his water well appeal, Randy couldn’t turn away. Because he’s a pastor, he gets so many requests for money, his natural instinct is to “shut off.” But this time, he couldn’t flip the switch. He says he knew the amount he wanted to give, but was disappointed he couldn’t, due to prior commitments. As a result of the Blessed Life teaching, he believes the Lord has prospered him so that any time his heart leads to give, the money will follow.
