Many know Sarah Jakes as the daughter of Bishop T.D. Jakes, one of the nation’s most visible pastors. Not many know her story. At the age of 14, Sarah found herself pregnant. As a teen mom, she was shunned at school, gossiped about at church, and her life was filled with loneliness. A few years later, a fairy-tale marriage ended in a spiral of hurt and rejection. She could’ve let her pain dictate her future. Instead, she found herself surrounded by a God she had given up on. Sarah’s new book, Lost & Found, offers hope and encouragement to those finding themselves wandering in the detours of life – and shows that no matter how lost they feel, they, too, can be found. Today, Sarah is a businesswoman, writer, and speaker. She oversees the women’s ministry at The Potter’s House and also periodically serves as the host of The Potter’s Touch, a daily inspirational broadcast.
