Shawn Michaels is one of the most famous professional wrestlers in the history of the business, but the price he paid to excel in the ring and to live like a WWE superstar nearly derailed his life. Michaels started wrestling in the mid-’80s, but became an international superstar as “The Heartbreak Kid”, winning the WWF championship for the first time in 1996.
