Biography
From Scotland, Sheila is an author, Bible teacher, and television host. She has spoken around the world to over 6 million women and serves as co-host of Life Today – a daily Christian talk show with a potential television broadcast audience of one billion worldwide. Her three-fold passion for evangelism, building up the Body of Christ, and caring for the poor flourish through her work with Life Outreach International.
Sheila loves to make the Bible practical, sharing how God met her at her lowest point and helped her to rise up again. Her message: God is holding you and He is in control!
Sheila’s books have sold over 5 million copies including, It’s Okay Not To Be Okay, Praying Women, How to Pray When You Don’t Know What To Say and her latest book, Holding on When You Want to Let Go.
Texas is her home where she lives with her husband, Barry. They have one son, Christian who is in graduate school.
