The very core of LIFE Outreach is preaching the Gospel of salvation, a calling on this ministry for more than 60 years now.

Recently, on a mission trip to South Sudan, I had the privilege of preaching in a community-wide crusade in Bor. What an honor it was to share the love of Jesus with so many precious people.

During our altar call, scores of people came forward, but one man stands out in my mind. Under the power and conviction of God’s precious word, he came with tears in his eyes and his hands raised, surrendering his heart and confessing to alcoholism and his desire to be set completely free from it.

In his world there are no treatment centers. He is completely dependent on the power and love of God. And God did work in his heart right there. I firmly believe I will see him again in heaven and will hear the story of how Christ set him completely free.

As we continued that night, praying for the sick and hearing the confessions of new believers, it was powerfully evident that Jesus is still the same as He was in the days of old – seeking to save the lost and set the captive free.

I must tell you, after preaching for more than 35 years now, there is something so much heavier about preaching to a group of desperate souls in many parts of the world where there is no Christian TV or a church close by. This might be the only time in their lives that they hear the Gospel preached. But, as you send us to them, more people are making decisions to follow Jesus!

I am happy to tell you that in 2024 the number of documented salvations was over 1.2 million. THANK YOU for praying, caring and sharing the Good News of Jesus with the world.
