These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace.

You may wonder, How can I ever have peace in light of everything I am going through? The strife in the world, your conflicts with others, and the stresses of life make gaining real peace seem impossible. But, child, I want to give you a peace that the world cannot give or even understand. This peace can be found only in Me, and it passes all human understanding. To receive it, you need to believe in Me to the point of daily abiding in My words and doing them. This will bring you into intimacy with the Father and Me. This peace is so fulfilling that those who have it can joyfully endure any hardship or trial. When you are stressed, worried, or fearful, let that be an alarm warning you that you have taken your eyes off Me. You have stopped trusting Me, and you are no longer abiding in My words and acting on them. Reset your focus and run to My words. Then rest in Me. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never fail. Do not go to sleep tonight until you have poured the soothing balm of My words into your mind and heart.
Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.
