Biography

Born in North Carolina and raised primarily in Florida, Ed Newton graduated from Clearwater Christian College and holds multiple graduate degrees in religious education, along with a doctorate in pulpit education and expository preaching from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary.

Ed has served as the lead pastor of Community Bible Church since 2016 and has authored several books, including his most recent evangelism resource, My 8: Embrace and Engage in the Wonder of Evangelism.
